This series is a narrative of a single mother surviving on the South Side of Chicago. This fictional narrative was far from what the mother actually experienced raising a daughter on the South Side.
It was this series that I questioned whether my intentions were for the actual experience or a composition of a narrative.

Series 2
Series was presented as large prints to immerse the viewer into feeling apart of the scene. Once it was revealed that the images were manipulated, the viewers felt an intense disconnect for the once thought of immersive scenes.
